They are mixed by hand and weighed - not counted - so there is no saying what amount you will get. If you are looking for other colors, we have a separate listing where you pick the individual colors and get exactly what you need.

Our experience has been that 14 oz of loops will make 9 hot pads, but again we can not guarantee any certain number of loops, you are paying for the weight.

The 5 lbs bag should make approx. 50 potholders. :)

Why 14 oz and not a full pound? Great question! Unfortunately, if your package weighs more than a pound (loops + shipping materials) then the shipping cost goes up to over $12. This way you get a big bulk of loops and the shipping costs stay low.

These loops are made by and are the original Harrisville Designs loopers.
